An entrepreneur, an education specialist, a scientist and a consultant walk into a bar... So less than 5 months ago, TechTikkun's journey began to solve one of the most critical problems for Israel and a major global risk. the factor is misinformation.
- New market vertical: everyone is talking about media security, fakes, information war. According to the WEF report, this is the first global risk. But MediaSec still doesn't have a dedicated market vertical.
- Social Inclusion: Facilitate Olim's integration into the Israeli tech ecosystem by enhancing collaboration with active local communities.
- Economic Impact: Foster economic opportunity for Israelis, with a focus on scalable startups of national importance.
- Stop making excuses and explaining, start doing: enough hasbara and the fight against anti-Semitism. We are too reactive. Israel has all the potential to overcome existing barriers and actively create new perspectives.
Creating value
Methodology
- Developed and tested a simplified startup funnel from expert insights to ideas to proof of concept (POC). The technique is unique to Israel and is unlikely to be found anywhere else.
- We have identified Israel's Media Security Strategic Challenge Map as the cornerstone of our initiatives.
- Received support from organizations such as Pearl Cohen, GOSH, Ethernity Cloud, as well as influential people and officials such as Ran Natanzon, Konstantin Berezin, Itay Melchior, Abraham Katsin, Jordan Kastrinsky, Grant de Graaf, Michael Pellivert, etc.
- Were invited to the AliyahTech conference to present a workshop on creative thinking in media security.
- Strong connections with communities such as The Ecosystem and DAN Launchpad, as well as most technology related channels for olim.
- Generated over 20,000 post views on LinkedIn alone.
